11 Common Capital Campaign Mistakes

It is post-Easter and many church leaders are taking a breath and looking toward the summer. The final weeks of school are always hectic for us personally and the church is not exempt. ┬áMother’s Day, Graduation, end of year activities for Children and Student ministries, and the flurry of activity for VBS and summer mission trips. No rest for the weary church staff member or lay leader.

The fall seems like an eternity away, but if your church is planning on a capital campaign for this fall or the spring of 2018, it is time to get going on the conversations. It takes time to get all of the ducks in a row.

We have created an eBook for church leaders that highlights 11 common capital campaign mistakes made by churches. #11 on that list is “Waiting too long to prepare.” Don’t let that be you and your church.

Download the eBook to learn more about waiting too long to prepare and the other 10 mistakes we have seen over the past 27 years of working with churches on capital campaigns.

Enjoy your breather; time to get going again čÖé
